Art that is digitally created from photographs. This work is different from Fine Art Photography in that it typically does not adhere to traditional rules of photography and instead involves varying degrees of manipulation, layering and filtering.
Color, lighting and composition are still guiding factors, but numerous additional techniques are applied during processing. A number of the images in these galleries are from film, but are uniquely processed to produce far different results.
